The Patron of our school and a model for our students is St. Teresa of child Jesus. She hails from a large middle class family. Her parents were devote and God fearing. As she was the last child in the family, a lot of affection was showered upon her. But she lost her mother when she was very young and her father and elder sister took care of her. God had a special plan for her. At the age of 15 she aspired to become religious but canonical law did not permit her to embrace religious life due to the minor age. A special permission was sought by Pope Pius XII. Then she was send to a Cloister Carmel Convent. There she underwent strict training and prepared herself spiritually, after which her superiors felt that she could pronounce her religious vows. Her life spam was very short but it was an exemplary and remarkable one. She did marvelous work for the love of Jesus. She did numerous sacrifices for the sinful people of the world.
Every small work was done with great love, Ordinary work was done with extraordinary love and care. Her virtues were many; simplicity, generosity, Patience, honesty, Prayer fulness, sensitivity, courteousness,politeness,gentleness,amicability,humorous, etc. She died at the age of 24.
May she protect all the students of St. Teresa’s, day in and day out from all dangerous. May she guide them and enlighten them with wisdom, knowledge and memory power to become worthy members of their family and to the world.
